Wearing their Winter Classic jerseys, the Boston Bruins keep their spot at eighth place in the Eastern Conference with a win over the New York Rangers. Miroslav Satan and Dennis Wideman were to two gaol scorers for the B's. Tuukka Rask kept the Rangers scoreless for most of the game until late in the 3rd period. The team was able to keep the score at 2-1 for the win.
There were 11 penalties called in the game. 3 were called against Zdeno Chara, who racked up 8 penalty minutes all before the end of the second period.
This was an important win for the B's as there 11 games left in the regular season. Hopfully they can keep up more 60 minute efforts for the rest of the season.
