Even though it has only been since Saturday that the Red Sox won their last game it seems like it has been much longer. Lots of bad pitching has happened in the meantime. But of course the cure for that is Josh Beckett who did not disappoint today, pitching 5 innings with only 3 hits and 1 run. There were also homeruns by Martinez, Hall, and Cameron. So the Pirates have been vanquished and the seas are safe again.

You Can Always Count on Beckett
